10x14 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: Roundel scalloped center medallion finished with delicate buds, blossoms, and floral cross-section end finials atop an abrash main field. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion, wrapped by playful germinating plants on the interior perimeter. Phenomenal main border in meandering vine and floral cross-section motif with alternating coloration of corner and central palmettes in great balance and pinwheel-like character. Colors and shades include: Faded cherry red, blush, rose, ivory, pale mauve, pale raspberry red, platinum, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
