:: Diamond shaped center medallion with small scale Herati design motif atop a large scale inverted coloration Herati design with book cover field overlays. Inner and outer minor borders in a boteh and shrub / cypress tree design motif. Beautiful blue abrashes mainly those found on the top third main border. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, cobalt, blue, madder root red, copper, powder blue, dusty raspberry reds, burgundy, wine red, ivory, pink, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Mostly secure sides and ends. Some light color migration from period correct painting, namely, those found in the red shades. One side measures narrower than the other, coming in at 10'10" as opposed to 11'4", within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bibikabad carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 11'4" x 16'9".
