:: Covered field with floral blossoms wrapped by a meandering vine main border and minor palmette blossom border. Outer minor border in a classic reciprocating pawn design motif and wide banded unusually deep and clear red outer stripe border. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, navy blue, sky blude, blush, pale mauve, ivory and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Tatter to sides and ends. Fragment rug from what was once most likely a runner. Multiple threadbare areas in the interior. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Serab rug runner made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 2'9" x 5'5".
