:: A fine Tehran carpet with Northwest Persian and Caucasian influence. An oversized center medallion with single internal central medallion inspired in part by the top view of a pomegranate. Field carries many woven interpretations of floral design elements, birds, and animals. Colors and shades include: Dark indigo blue, navy blue, madder root red, saffron yellow, powder blue, beige, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Two small interior holes. Tatter to sides, secure ends, one slightly tattered corner. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tehran rug made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 3' x 4'3".
